Point of sale and product sales for an aesthetic clinic
The POS builds the cart, links the sale to the client and the professional, records the payment method and closes it. The catalogue controls price, cost, minimum stock, expiry and activation for each product, and margin sits next to the history.
Home care, cosmetics and retail stop living in a separate notebook. A product sale lands on the same record as the client who books treatments, so her history is a single one.
- Cart with client and professional linked
- Payment method recorded at close
- Price, cost and margin per product
- Minimum stock and expiry on the record
- Cancellation history preserved
- Sales land in the cash book with everything else
A sale that knows whose it is
Linking the sale to the client and the professional changes two things: her history shows treatment and product side by side, and team commission can take retail into account with the same rule as appointments.
A catalogue with cost, not just price
Each product holds a sale price and a cost, so margin is calculated rather than estimated. Minimum stock and expiry sit on the same record, so restocking follows what actually left.
Cancel without erasing
A cancelled sale does not vanish: it stays in the history with the cancellation recorded. Cash reconciliation and margin still add up, because nothing was removed to round a number.
What the POS does not do
Real limits, and they are the usual ones:
- It does not issue tax invoices — fiscal issuance stays outside the product
- It does not integrate a card terminal: the payment method is recorded, capture happens on your terminal
- It does not place automatic restock orders from minimum stock
- It is not an online store: the clinic records the sale, not the client
Frequently asked
Questions about the POS
Does a product sale count towards commission?
The sale is linked to the professional and the commission report uses the rules you registered. What it does not do is pay: the close is an audited report, not a transfer.
Can I issue an invoice from Bia?
No. Fiscal issuance does not exist in the product and is promised nowhere. The payment method is recorded for cash reconciliation.
Does stock drop when I sell?
The product sold leaves the product stock. Supply consumption per treatment is a different thing and happens when the appointment is completed.
Put retail in the same place as treatment
